Research reported in Harvard Business Review, May 2010, embarked on a study to answer the following question:
What are the differences between leaders who multiply intelligence amongst employees and those who diminish it, and what impact do they have on the organisation?
They conducted 360 evaluations on about 150 managers (75 of each type) in more than 150 companies spanning four continents.
They found that leaders who multiply intelligence (Radiators) can get as much as twice as much out of their teams without adding any resources or overheads.
