This half-day workshop and reading is designed to help you understand your thinking preferences and how this drives how you communicate, what your needs are and your values. The part of your brain that you prefer to think with largely determines your strengths and weaknesses. Participants will be officially profiled with Herrmann's Whole Brain Index to identify their thinking preferences. Herrmann’s Whole Brain Index shows that people think in fundamentally different ways and need to be led differently.
Content includes
- Understanding your Herrmann profile under normal conditions and under pressure
- Understanding your strengths and how to play to them
- Understanding your weaknesses and how to cover them
- Understanding that others have different thinking preferences, strengths, needs and frustrations
- How to understand, appreciate and get along with people you find difficult
- How to communicate more effectively with each type of profile
- How to do better presentations.
Why this is important
- This module shows that people are different. Some are blue, others are green, red and yellow. Each colour has different needs, strengths and weaknesses, and different communication styles. Treat them the way you like to be treated and you will succeed about a quarter of the time. Treat them the way they like to be treated and you’ll succeed every time.
- When you understand their colour, you understand their strengths and weaknesses, and can use their strengths more often and deliberately and cover their weaknesses by building much stronger multi-coloured teams.
- Also when you know a person’s colour you can communicate (and sell and influence) in ways that go straight to their psyche. It’s like magic!
