Build Your Personal Brand

Build Your Personal Brand is a half-day module in Bruce Holland's Irresistible Leadership Program.

Purpose

The purpose of this workshop is to help you identify and communicate your brand. This is important because, the way others see you, will be critical to your personal and business success.

People excel in their fields through personal drive, determined behaviours and the self-awareness to know who they are and what they want. These people have mastered their own identities. If you want success you need to do the same.

Real success goes to people with a unique personality, skill, or product. “Uniqueness never drops out of committees, it arises from deep within a person, from your essential self.” Emerson.

If you don’t know who you are, you can't expect anyone else to know who you are. Lose yourself and you have nothing left. Your success depends on understanding who you are to a deep level.

"Carpenters bend wood. Fletchers bend arrows. Wise men fashion themselves". Buddha.

Content includes:

  1. To stand out you must stand for something. What do you stand for?
  2. Who are you and what do you want to be?
  3. A great brand taps into emotions. Emotions drive most, if not all, of our decisions. What emotions do you want your brand to convey?
  4. A great brand is a story. What is your story?
  5. What, precisely, is it that you want to be famous for? How does your work matter?
  6. What is your image and how it can become stronger?
  7. Your success depends on you becoming stunningly good at something your clients value. What?
  8. Who is your customer and what do they want?
  9. What will you do to make myself more valuable to your customer than you are at present?
  10. What specific skills will you acquire or enhance in the next year?
  11. How to get your message across. How will you get your message across?

Why this is important

"We must become the change we want to see in the world". Gandhi.
