ESR is a Crown Research Institute of about 330 people. Its employees are highly skilled and highly intelligent researchers. The company was originally part of the DSIR and had been put together from many of the parts of the DSIR which did not seem to 'fit' anywhere else.
Bruce worked with the Board and the Senior Leadership Team to help them chose a stronger Strategic Intent and direction. As a result ESR desired to become more 'customer intimate' and to empower their people to achieve this.
Bruce worked with several project teams in significant parts of the organisation as pilots for change where tried.
As a result the organisation is becoming far more client focused right throughout, from top to bottom.
