Royal New Zealand Plunket Society

Plunket is a wonderful case of an organisation living as a ?living organisation?. Our job was to review the design of the internal communications which we concluded was a major reason why Plunket has been so successful for nearly 100 years.

In Plunket, communication is not just a ?nice to have'; it is the 'blood' that nurtures the organisation. It provides Plunket with a competitive edge. This is because it is critical for building relationships, linking widely spread people together and getting everyone feeling that they are part of something far bigger and more important.

We recommended that Plunket continues to tolerate lots of consultation and involvement in order to achieve maximum adaptability and connectedness. The review also recognised that the world of communications has undergone a revolution in the area of e-communications and Plunket make greater use of e-communications.
